Chris Bauman was born in Kansas City, Missouri. He graduated from Southwest Missouri State University in Springfield, Missouri, with a Bachelor’s Degree in 7-12 Mathematics Education in May of 1995. He graduated from Missouri State University with a Master’s Degree in Educational Leadership in May of 2005. Chris completed an Educational Specialist Degree from Southwest Baptist University in May of 2010. Chris has completed his fifth year as the Executive Director of Operations for the Ozark R-VI School District and Chris is now serving as the superintendent of Ozark schools. Chris believes all students can achieve at a high level, and it is the job of teachers to support them to this high degree. Our challenges are large and our time is short; we must not delay.

Gerald Chambers joined Care to Learn in 2018. Gerald spent 17 years in Ozark as a teacher and assistant principal. After spending four years as the elementary principal in Sparta, he returned to Ozark as the Executive Director of Student Services. Gerald is also a member of the Kiwanis Club of Ozark and has been on the Finley River Community Foundation Board since 2014.

Advisory Council member Barger is Executive Director of Children's Smile Center, a local nonprofit that provides dental care for low-income children. He has 30+ years of experience in nonprofit fundraising and administration and has also served as a board member and officer with Ozark Rotary Club, Finley River Community Foundation, and Ozark Chamber of Commerce.
