You Made it Happen: 5,000 Hygiene Kits

We did it! Thanks to the time, energy, and care of hundreds of volunteers this summer, we were able to hand out 5,000 hygiene kits to Springfield Public Schools (SPS) students at the Back to School Bash!

And that’s not all. We also were able to distribute:  

• 1,000 Household Cleaning Kits
• 250 Haircut Vouchers
• 300 Curly Hair Kits
• Feminine Hygiene Products 

The annual Back to School Bash is one of our favorite events of the year. Here are a few highlights from the day: 

Look at all those hygiene kits ready to go! There were thousands more prepped behind the curtain, too. 

There were so many students and families. We were so grateful to get to hand out items directly to them. 

Shout to Alexis Childs, Lisa Pitt, Hannah Childs, Lacie Clark, Derek and Michelle Day, and Dr. Tom Prater for joining us to hand out hygiene kits. 

Care to Learn loves Springfield Public Schools! Thank you for allowing us the opportunity to provide the students of SPS with the supplies to successfully start the school year.
