Just a coat. That’s all it took to impact Chloe’s* day.

When the weather turned chilly, she started visiting the school nurse’s office with various ailments instead of going outside.

But, it didn’t take long for the nurse to find out what was really going on. When the nurse asked - Chloe confessed, “I don’t have a coat and my family can’t afford one.”

With the help of Care to Learn, the nurse was able to give the student a brand-new winter jacket. When she received it, she was beyond excited.

“Now I can go outside and be with my friends.”

With one helping hand, a middle school girl got exactly what she wished for: Warm winter gear, and the chance to be outside with everyone else.

Care to Learn exists to meet emergent health, hunger, and hygiene needs just like these, and you can too.

This holiday, you have the power to be a helping hand right here in our community. You can help children in need feel seen, cared for, and loved.

Together, let’s help all children feel like they belong.
