$100,000 to support the Caring Starts Here Campaign!
On June 16, Community Foundation of the Ozarks presented Care to Learn with a $100,000 Musgrave Foundation Special Projects FY26 grant for Caring Starts Here: Care to Learn Capital Campaign.
This donation will help expand Care to Learn’s capacity to meet critical needs and provide necessary space for Care to Learn to better serve more students, more efficiently from its HQ.
"Thank you to Community Foundation of the Ozarks and the Jeanette L. Musgrave Foundation for believing in our mission and investing in the future of Missouri students,” said Andrea Harp, Vice President of Marketing. “This grant will help create a space where we can expand our impact, welcome more volunteers, and ultimately say 'yes' to more children in need. The ripple effect of this generosity will be felt by students and families for years to come."

The Caring Starts Here Capital Campaign marks a significant milestone for CTL, which provides health, hunger, and hygiene resources to help students thrive in school. Over the past 18 years, Care to Learn has grown from one school district in Springfield to more than 55 school districts across Missouri, providing resources to more than 130,000 students.
Care to Learn’s new home and expanded warehouse will allow the Green Team to maximize capacity for bulk deliveries and in-kind donations, triple the number of volunteer opportunities, and ultimately create a true regional hub. The facility is not designed just to meet today’s needs but to position Care to Learn for long-term, strategic, and sustainable growth.
The “Caring Starts Here” campaign goal is $6.9 million, and Care to Learn has already secured $5.75M of its funding.
