When we think of Helping Hands, our friends at Mercy Springfield come to mind. They know how to make an impact and have fun while doing it!

They are dedicated to providing compassionate care, emphasizing dignity, excellence, service, and stewardship. These core values align perfectly with the Care to Learn mission to serve students in need.

Here's a quick recap of how they supported Care to Learn in 2024:

Mercy Springfield filled 14 donation boxes with the help of five donation drives. Thank you to each of these departments for lending a hand:

  • 340B Pharmacy

  • Hospitalists

  • Radiology/Oncology

  • Care Management

  • Orthopedic Hospital

In total, these generous donations amounted to 1,527 essential items, which have gone directly to support children with on-site emergent needs.

And that's not all.  Mercy Springfield volunteers have played a crucial role in keeping our Care to Learn Closet Program space organized and accessible. In 2024, 28 dedicated volunteers donated their time, collectively contributing 54 volunteer hours to ensure our closet remained a valuable resource.

As a Game Day Presenting Sponsor for our 2025 School Soirée: Thursday Night Lights, Mercy Springfield continues to showcase its commitment to making a difference.

We're so grateful for the incredible support we've received from their team. With their help, we can continue to provide essential resources and celebrate more student success stories.
