Mallory Brown

Our 2025 Keynote Speakers

Mallory Brown

Filmmaker, Humanitarian, and Speaker

Mallory Brown is a worldwide adventure traveler, documentary filmmaker, and global humanitarian. She travels the world to tell real-life stories of human connection. Mallory’s goal is to encourage others to add more meaning to their work and reignite their own desire to make a difference.

With her having visited over 60 countries, Mallory weaves the fabric of human connection into a tapestry of real-life stories. These stories are aimed at sparking a fire in others to find deeper meaning in their work. They reignite the passion to make a tangible difference. Additionally, she launched two socially-conscious businesses. With this business creation, she also funneled hundreds of thousands of dollars into combating international poverty. This proves her commitment to global betterment.

Through her groundbreaking “Walk A Mile” campaign, Mallory Brown is not just covering ground; she’s breaking it. This global marathon for women’s empowerment is more than a physical challenge; it’s a journey of unity and strength. By walking a marathon one mile at a time alongside 26 women, Mallory supports a local women’s charity. She isn’t just sharing their stories—she’s amplifying their voices and directly benefiting local women’s charities, one step at a time.

Mallory’s story inspires others to live a passionate, generous, and global life. Her efforts have been featured by the Today Show, The New York Times, Crain’s Detroit Business, the Huffington Post, and Cosmopolitan Magazine. Born and raised with the spirit of Michigan’s resilience, Mallory now lives on the vibrant edge of Detroit. She embodies the spirit of adventure and the power of storytelling to inspire action.

Brandy Harris

Brandy Harris

CEO of the Boys & Girls Clubs of Springfield, and Champion for Kids

As a first-generation college graduate, Brandy Harris faced a few obstacles as she navigated her way toward success. Those challenges and the people who encouraged her inspired Brandy to become a champion for other children.

Because educators had been such a positive force in her life, Brandy became a teacher. She earned bachelor’s and master’s degrees and joined the faculty at Hillcrest High School as a speech and debate coach. Eventually, an opportunity presented itself to serve even more children. In 2019, Brandy was named the first female chief executive officer of Boys & Girls Clubs of Springfield.

Since then, she has guided the organization to many successes and led with wisdom and vision during the global pandemic. Under her leadership, she has helped open eight locations, hired more than 150 staff members, and served 1,500 club members and 8,000 youth in the community.

She has also been instrumental in developing an innovative partnership with Springfield Public Schools to open three Boys & Girls Clubs units at schools, making services more accessible to students.

Brandy is passionate about protecting and advocating for children, especially those who are under-represented and under-resourced. She knows from experience the difference a mentor can make in the life of a child and strives to serve as their voice through all of her work at Boys & Girls Clubs and as a volunteer in the community.
