Chapter Information
Care to Learn - Rogersville was established in 2011 as the 7th Care to Learn Chapter. It currently serves students in partnership with the Logan-Rogersville R-VIII School District.
In addition to serving health, hunger, and hygiene needs the Rogersville Care to Learn Chapter also provides a robust weekend backpack program for students known as “Paw Packs.” In 2021-2022 school year, they provided 1,246 Paw Packs to students!
The Rogersville Chapter also partners with several organizations in the community and hosts a variety of events district-wide to raise funds for students in need.

Chapter Leadership
Jen Kent
Jen is one of the Chapter Liaisons for the Care to Learn - Rogersville Chapter. She also serves as a School Social Worker for the Logan-Rogersville R-VIII School District.
As a Liaison for the Rogesrville Chapter, Jennifer works within the Logan-Rogersville R-VIII School District to ensure student’s basic needs are being met and to raise funds to ensure Care to Learn – Rogersville continues its mission.
Jen is a huge advocate of Care to Learn and sees first hand the impact it can provide.
“Care to Learn has supported the students and families in our district. Your [community] contributions have provided our students with glasses, dental care, weather appropriate clothing, medical needs, paw packs, hair cuts, hygiene items and have assisted in connecting with local resources for other needs. By providing these services it helps foster an environment where our students can maximize their learning potential. Thank you to everyone who has supported Care to Learn and its mission; addressing the unmet health, hunger and hygiene needs in our school district.”
Mandy Williams
Mandy is one of the Chapter Liaisons for the Care to Learn - Rogersville Chapter. She also serves as a High School Social Nurse for the Logan-Rogersville R-VIII School District.
As a Liaison for the Rogersville Chapter, Mandy works within the Logan-Rogersville R-VIII School District to ensure students’ basic needs are met and raise funds to ensure Care to Learn – Rogersville continues its mission.
Mandy is a huge advocate of Care to Learn and sees firsthand the impact it can provide. She says, “Care to Learn means we can provide and meet the needs of our students to help them stay in school, learn, and thrive, not just survive.”
