School Soiree: Thursday Night Lights Championship Prize Package Raffle 2025 Terms & Conditions
1. Raffle Purpose
- The raffle is conducted by Care to Learn, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization based in Springfield, Missouri. All proceeds support Care to Learn’s mission of meeting children's emergent health, hunger, and hygiene needs so they can succeed in school.
2. Eligibility
- Open to individuals 21 years of age or older at the time of entry.
- Void where prohibited by law.
3. Raffle Period
- Entries will be accepted leading up to and during the School Soiree: Thursday Night Lights event.
- The Championship Prize Package raffle drawing will take place at the School Soiree: Thursday Night Lights on Thursday, October 2, 2025 by 9 pm.
- The winner does not need to be present to win.
4. Prize
- The School Soiree: Thursday Night Lights Championship Prize Package is valued at less than $5,000.
- The Championship Prize Package is non-transferable, non-refundable, and cannot be exchanged for cash.
- Care to Learn reserves the right to substitute a prize of equal or greater value if the stated prize becomes unavailable.
5. Entries & Entry Method
- Digital purchases are the sole method of entry into this raffle. Each digital purchase constitutes one entry into the drawing.
- 200 total entries will be sold.
- No paper or physical entries will be issued. Purchasers will receive digital confirmation of their entry via email.
- Entries are non-refundable and non-transferable once purchased.
- Entry sales will close the night of School Soiree: Thursday Night Lights on Thursday, October 2, 2025.
6. Winner Selection and Notification
- The winner will be selected randomly from all eligible entries.
- The drawing will be conducted by Care to Learn staff or representatives, and the results are final.
- The winner will be announced at the School Soiree: Thursday Night Lights on Thursday, October 2, 2025 and/or contacted directly using the information provided at the time of entry.
7. Taxes and Fees
- The winner is solely responsible for any federal, state, or local taxes, fees, or other costs associated with the prize.
- Care to Learn will comply with all applicable IRS and state reporting requirements.
8. Publicity
- By accepting the prize, the winner agrees that Care to Learn may use their name, likeness, and/or photograph for promotional purposes without additional compensation, unless prohibited by law.
9. Limitation of Liability
- Care to Learn, its board members, staff, and affiliates are not responsible for any lost, late, or misdirected entries; technical errors; or any injury, loss, or damage of any kind arising from participation or use of the prize.
10. Compliance with Law
- This raffle is conducted in accordance with the laws of the State of Missouri.
- Care to Learn reserves the right to update, suspend, or cancel the raffle if necessary to comply with applicable law or due to unforeseen circumstances.
