Chapter Information
Care to Learn - Fordland was established in 2012 as the 10th Care to Learn Chapter. It currently serves students in partnership with the Fordland R-III School District.
In addition to filling health, hunger, and hygiene needs, the Care to Learn - Fordland Chapter has a special Care to Learn locker available at school for students to get grab-and-go items when in need. They are very thankful to be able to support so many students by partnering with several generous organizations in the community.
This year, the Chapter is hosting Donkey Basketball to raise money for student needs. They also host a Community Care Day to raise money and awareness for their Chapter.

Chapter Leadership
Becky Haynes
Becky is the Chapter Liaison for the Care to Learn - Fordland Chapter. She also serves as the Secondary Special Education Teacher for the Fordland R-III School District.
As a Liaison for the Fordland Chapter, Becky works within the Fordland R-III School District to ensure student’s basic needs are being met and to raise funds to ensure Care to Learn – Fordland continues its mission.
When asked what one of her most notable memories serving for Care to Learn was, Becky said, “I took a load of fire wood to a family. The father had been in an accident and couldn't cut the wood himself. He wanted to pay us back as soon as he could. He was very grateful when he understood that wasn’t necessary.”
