Chapter Information

Care to Learn - Republic was established in 2010 as the 6th Care to Learn Chapter. It currently serves students in partnership with the Republic R-III School District.

In addition to serving health, hunger, and hygiene needs, the Republic Care to Learn Chapter also provides a robust weekend backpack program for students known as “Tiger Totes.”

The Republic Chapter also partners with several organizations in the community and hosts several fundraisers throughout the year to raise funds for students in need.

The Chapter also participates in Care to Wear community days and often offers the option for logo wear purchases.

Tiger Totes

Tiger Totes

Tiger Totes is a crucial weekend meal program designed to eliminate hunger for Republic students when they are not in school. Each week, we distribute nearly 300 food bags to students grades PreK-12th that contain breakfast, lunch, dinner, and snack items for Saturday and Sunday. As we continue our mission to support the health, hunger, and hygiene needs of Republic students, we are thrilled to announce a powerful new initiative: Sponsor a Tiger Tote!
