Chapter Information
Care to Learn - Sparta was established in 2014 as the 13th Care to Learn Chapter. It currently serves students in partnership with the Sparta R-III School District.
In addition to serving the health, hunger, and hygiene needs, the Sparta Care to Learn Chapter also provides a robust weekend backpack program for students.
The Sparta Chapter also partners with several organizations in the community to raise funds for students in need, including an annual food drive for local families and students.

Chapter Leadership
Hannah Fox
Hannah is one of the Chapter Liaisons for the Care to Learn - Sparta Chapter. She also serves as the High School Counselor for the Sparta R-III School District.
As a Liaison for the Sparta Chapter, Hannah works within the Sparta R-III School District to ensure student’s basic needs are being met and to raise funds to ensure Care to Learn – Sparta continues its mission.
Hannah is a huge advocate of Care to Learn and sees first hand the impact it can provide.
Sarah Sherman
Sarah is one of the Chapter Liaisons for the Care to Learn - Sparta Chapter. She also serves as the Middle School and High School Nurse for the Sparta R-III School District.
As a Liaison for the Sparta Chapter, Sarah works within the Sparta R-III School District to ensure student’s basic needs are being met and to raise funds to ensure Care to Learn – Sparta continues its mission.
Sarah is a huge advocate of Care to Learn and sees first hand the impact it can provide.
Care to Learn recently aided students in receiving new clothes. Because of this, and many other reasons, many have shared that Care to Learn provides “hope for students” in the Sparta district.
