Cassie Melvin

Cassie Melvin currently serves as Care to Learn's Executive Administrative Assistant, having joined the team in April 2024. Prior to her role at Care to Learn, Cassie was the CSBG Director for the Ozarks Area Community Action Corporation (OACAC), where she played a large role in writing their Community Needs Assessment.

Cassie is excited to join the team because she loves working with children and seeing them thrive. She has a degree in Child and Family Development, so she knows how important it is to minimize trauma and provide the building blocks for success for children. Outside of work, Cassie loves spending time with her son and husband. She likes visiting the park and the zoo and looking for treasures at local flea markets. She also loves reading and adding books to her son's collection.
