Cody Wright

Cody Wright joined the Care to Learn team in July 2024 as a Data Entry Specialist and now serves as our Operations Specialist. His duties include assisting with office management, overseeing program inventory, and greeting our guests and callers. Cody enjoys being a support player and providing streamlined processes and procedures to help things run smoothly for everyone.

Outside of work, Cody loves his animals, baking, coffee, technology, and the performing arts.

Favorite Teacher:

"The person who impacted me the most in school was Coach Shively. He brought the same commitment to excellence from basketball and track & field that he brought to advanced math and physics. He always pushed us hard to do our best, and he always called us out whenever we didn't. More than physics or track, he taught me that I should tackle everything in life with everything I have. I may not always do well, but I should always do my best. 

If it's worth doing, then it's worth doing great."

Care to Learn Memory: 

"My favorite Care to Learn memory is the moment it all became real for me. When I first got here, I worked pretty exclusively with the receipt data for various chapters and programs, and soon after I started, I was stopped in my tracks by an online order for a bed set. On the receipt, there was a little preview picture of a pink and navy bed set for a young child somewhere in Missouri, and I was hit with the weight of what we do every day. No matter what we're working on at the Central Office, we're working so that Care to Learn can provide a pair of shoes, or a winter coat, or a necessary procedure for a child that really needs it."
