Krystal Simon

Krystal Simon is the Chief Executive Officer of Care to Learn and started with the organization in July 2021.

She's been named one of the Biz 417 "Biz 100," Biz 417's "Women Who Mean Business," one of the Springfield Business Journal's "20 Most Influential Women, and "12 People You Need to Know." Krystal was also recognized as a “Top Sales and Marketing Executive" by the Springfield Business Journal.

Krystal holds a B.A. degree in Business Administration from Drury University. She currently serves on the board of the Springfield Area Chamber of Commerce and Arvest Bank.

In her free time, Krystal likes to spend time at Table Rock Lake with her husband, three children, and two dogs. She is passionate about impacting her community and helping children in need.

"Mrs. Hargis. She was everything you could ever wish for in a teacher. She was patient, warm, and kind. She went above and beyond to help me and would stay after school to tutor me for free. Mrs. Hargis even found books I enjoyed reading. She would celebrate my wins, big and little."

Favorite Care to Learn Memory:

"I was truly moved to hear the story about a young woman who received critical dental help after one of our Chapter Liaisons discovered her trying to fix her dental issues on her own. Once this sweet high school girl received the help she desperately needed, she was able to attend her school dance with a brand new smile. Now, that's life-changing."
