Care to Learn is thrilled to welcome Rachael Walsh as the Vice President of Development for Care to Learn. She joins the team effective May 28, 2025.
Walsh comes to Care to Learn from United Way of the Ozarks, where she most recently served as Vice President of Resource Development. Walsh led strategic fundraising initiatives, managed corporate and individual donor relationships, and provided direct supervision to development, communications, and engagement teams.
As Vice President of Development, Walsh will carry out Care to Learn’s comprehensive and results-oriented fundraising strategy by cultivating donor relationships, executing development initiatives, and expanding philanthropic support through donor gifts, corporate partnerships, grants, and special events.
Walsh, a graduate of Missouri State University, is also a Leadership Springfield alumna and an active member of Southeast Rotary. She is known not only for her strategic thinking and attention to detail but also for her ability to build authentic relationships that inspire generosity and impact.
“From the moment I began my career, I knew one thing for certain: I wanted to make an impact in my community and help create a culture of compassion and support,” says Walsh. “Care to Learn’s mission deeply resonates with me, and I am excited about the opportunity to bring my passion and expertise to the role of Vice President of Development.” -Rachael Walsh
