Chapter Information
Care to Learn - Winona was established in 2019 as the 35th Care to Learn Chapter. It currently serves students in partnership with the Winona R-III School District.
In addition to providing health, hunger, and hygiene needs, the Winona Chapter also has a robust backpack program, providing 24 bags weekly for students.
The Winona Chapter also partners with several organizations in the community to raise funds for students in need.

Chapter Leadership
June Cox
June is one of the Chapter Liaisons for the Care to Learn - Winona Chapter. She also serves as Business Instructor for the Winona R-III School District.
As a Liaison for the Winona Chapter, June works within the Winona R-III School District to ensure students’ basic needs are being met and to raise funds to ensure Care to Learn – Winona continues its mission.
In Winona, Care to Learn represents one simple word: hope. Even though the families in her community are often cautious about asking for help, June says nothing compares to the look on their faces when they realize that their children are taken care of.
Sarah West
Sarah is one of the Chapter Liaisons for the Care to Learn - Winona Chapter. She also serves as a teacher for the Winona R-III School District.
As a Liaison for the Winona Chapter, Sarah works within the Winona R-III School District to ensure students’ basic needs are being met and to raise funds to ensure Care to Learn – Winona continues its mission.
